For those who know Dr. E’s work, this recognition feels both significant and well deserved.
Her career spans more than 40 years in reproductive medicine, microbiome science, and translational biotechnology. She holds 25 issued patents, has authored numerous breakthrough scientific publications, and has helped reshape regulatory standards in women’s health. She continues to lead federally funded research focused on reducing infections that contribute to cancer risk.
But her impact extends well beyond laboratories and regulatory milestones. Dr. Ellington has mentored many students, from high school through professional degrees, often creating paid research opportunities to ensure talented young people can pursue STEM careers.
We are grateful to celebrate this well-earned recognition and proud to continue building products rooted in the same values that shaped Dr. E’s career.
Congratulations, Dr. Ellington.
